On June 12-13, 2014, BRN organized its first international meeting: “Personalized Respiratory Medicine. Exploring the Horizon.”
With the support of B·Debate (Biocat and “la Caixa” Foundation) and the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine (AJRCCM), the meeting consisted of a scientific workshop (12nd June 2014) followed by an open symposium(13th June 2014).
Please do not hesitate to download the detailed agenda or the complete program here.
The workshop brought together around 20 global scientific leaders from different disciplines (genomics, systems biology, epidemiology, clinical research, telemedicine, etc.) with the aim to debate the state of the art in the field of personalized respiratory medicine, identifying priorities and future opportunities for the next decade. The conclusions drawn from the workshop will be published (after peer review) in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, the journal with the highest global impact in respiratory health.
The open symposium aimed to provide a broad, transdisciplinary view of the topic to a larger audience and delve deeper into how to tackle the challenge of respiratory health from the new perspective of personalized medicine. Below you will find complete information for each presentation of the symposium (video, slides, abstract and speaker’s CV).
